AQUATECH Inventory and Parts Person

AQUATECH is a complete service provider of specialized Pumping and Environmental Equipment for fluid handling and testing applications. While mostly known for our construction dewatering and groundwater related services, we also offer a complete line of pumping equipment including diesel, hydraulic and electric powered centrifugals, electric submersibles, light tower and diesel generators.

The Inventory and Parts Person is a member of the Pump and Power Team who will utilize technical, mechanical and organizational skills to manage the Concord branch inventory for AQUATECH’s pumping equipment. The Inventory and Parts Person will provide assistance to field operations as required and will maintain an orderly department with parts stored in the proper location.
Job Responsibilities
- On a regular basis, complete purchase orders for non-inventory items purchased
- Maintain an open purchase order book with all purchases awaiting receipt of ordered goods filed alphabetically by vendor
- Receive all incoming goods verifying quantities and quality received against information showing on vendor’s packing slips
- Complete return forms when shipping purchased goods back to vendor
- Maintain an open work order for all AQUATECH Fleet equipment returning off-rent
- Issue required parts to AQUATECH mechanics for repair of equipment and clearly record transactions on the appropriate work orders
- Monitor part stock levels
- Maintain files for AQUATECH equipment, including vehicles and support equipment
- Maintain clear records of current pricing and vendor information for all items purchased on a regular basis
- Conduct regular inventory of all serial numbered equipment for submission to Corporate to maintain accurate equipment inventory tracking
- Daily handling of pumps and pumping accessories
Qualifications and Required Experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring systems (220 and 575 volt)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
- Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines
- Comfortable using computers
- Basic knowledge of and experience in general shipping and receiving procedures
- Very strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Occasional exposure to weather conditions and shop environment
